WELCOME TO THE NURSERY

We are excited to welcome your child into our Clubhouse Nursery! We are committed to providing your little one with a safe and nurturing environment while you are away. Along with the Parent Handbook policies, please review and follow these tips and reminders to help the staff provide the best care for your child and, in turn, give your child the best experience possible.

RESERVATIONS

Nursery reservation requests require a minimum advance notice of one day. Reservations can be requested online up to 7 days in advance. As a courtesy to the other nursery guests and our caregivers, please do your best to be as accurate as possible when making reservations. Reservations will only be held for 30 minutes after the scheduled drop off, at which time they will be automatically cancelled and fees assessed.

CHECK-IN PROCESS

At drop off you will be directed to fill out a nursery log for your child. Please take your time and fill out the starred parent portions of the log completely. The log sheet will serve as your child’s individual schedule that has been set by you for the caregivers to follow. If your child is not on a set schedule please do your best to approximate times for feeding and napping. It is also helpful to add any tips you may have for napping success. This completed log sheet is required by Texas State Licensing and is a vital tool for communicating your child’s needs and your expectations as a parent to our staff.

FOOD, BOTTLES & BELONGINGS

Please ensure that ALL your child’s belongings are properly labeled with their first name and first initial of their last name. If you are bringing bottles or sippy cups already filled with milk, formula, or juice, please indicate the contents in addition to their name (as a nut free facility, nut based milk products are prohibited). Please pack enough ready to use bottles to cover all expected bottle feedings. Bottles, cups, spoons and food containers will be returned to you rinsed but not sanitized. Clubhouse Playcare does not provide food or snacks for children in the Nursery. Please bring all food and snack items that your child will need for their stay. We ask that all food items be pre-prepared and pre-cut into non-choking sizes and nut free. Food items can be heated at the facility and refrigerator space will be provided for your child’s food items as necessary.

CLOTHES

For your child’s comfort and safety, please dress them in comfortable clothes. We ask that you do not send them in hooded outfits or anything that might present a strangulation hazard. Please provide at least one additional outfit in a labeled ziplock to change your child into if needed.

DIAPER BAGS

For safety reasons, we do not allow diaper bags into the nursery classroom. Please place all items that your child will require for their stay into the bins provided. Please note that Clubhouse staff are NOT permitted to administer non-emergency medication to your child, so please refrain from placing any prescription or over the counter medications into your child’s bin (properly labeled prescription diaper creams are permitted). If you wish to leave a diaper bag at the facility, Clubhouse staff can securely stow it in the lobby for you until your return.

PICK-UP

Clock-out your child at the reception counter kiosk. Please have a photo ID ready to display if requested by our staff. Please wait for one of our staff members to verify your clock-out and collect payment if needed.

FIRST TIME GUESTS

First time nursery guests are strongly recommended to limit your child’s first stay to less than 2 hours, and remain reasonably close to the facility. If your child is struggling to adjust to the nursery environment, the desk staff will will reach out to you.
